Somewhere down the street

by kuylerquijas

There’s a place down the street
That you can’t find a bench to sit
After the sun goes down.
There are people I’d like to meet
But I can’t offer them a drink
So I don’t bother them with my mind.
We can sit together another time.
I’ll bring something to ease your mind
Whether in my sock or my backpack,
I will give you a reason to walk.
I can make you’re veins warm.
I can make you’re feet float.
Ill remember you next time I go down the street.
I will give you a greet
And make the ground touch your feet.
